I am a single male who has been attending Club 2000 for some three years now. I have just read some of the reports posted on this web site and i have to say that those who have criticised the place are well off the mark.

It is a friendly club, the owner, Phil is a sound guy who will go to any length to make all his members feel welcome, relaxed and appreciated.The same goes for the majority of single guys and couples too.

There is a small minority of people who turn up and expect something that doesn't happen in the real world, i.e, tall, blonde size 10 models who are 20 - 30 years old and men who look like Olympic Athletes. This is a normal swingers club for normal people, not narrow minded tossers.

The club is clean, well run, secure and discreet and bloody good fun. Yes there are smokers, yes there are folk that like a beer or 10, but the majority won't bother you. If you are a single guy then ask before you steam in expecting to be entertained. If you are a couple then a "thanks but no thanks" will see you having a fun filled night.

we went to club2000 for the first time on saturday and found it to be a very enjoyable experience.. we were made to feel completely at ease as though we had known all the members for ages... being new to the scene this made meeting a couple a lot easier.... next time we visit we hope to get more involved in the club instead of waiting till afterwards and going back to someones house... thankyou for a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable night... i have already recommended club2000 to some friends who are interested in visiting

It’s a shame to see the odd negative reviews recently which I can only describe as “bitchy” probably written by some losers who were obviously so ugly, dirty or boring (or all three) that nobody must have liked them, hence the bitchy, untrue reviews. Regarding the last one on day 21 dated February, by yet another anonymous writer who obviously hasn’t the balls to put their REAL name to their review!

(1) Yes we do have single guys as members. After an initial chat on the phone, then if they sound reasonable they ALL go through an interview procedure where I personally meet them for a chat to determine their suitability as prospective members. Yes they like to join in the fun when invited and also enjoy watching! Just like the couples. Not so strange really I don’t think! This couple were obviously not into threesomes with single guys. Fine! It’s not compulsory. But some couples are into threesomes. (2) Yes this playroom is a bedroom! Surprise surprise! What did they expect? A kitchen?

(3) There are six mattresses in the playroom not just two! Also the mattresses are covered with fitted sheets which are always clean at the start of each party night! These people must think they have eyesight like superman as this playroom is very dimly lit!!!

(4) They claim that there was no evidence of safe sex being practised. I wonder what these people were doing? Looking in the waste bins? Or just trying to perve at others closely to check? It takes all sorts I suppose but are usual members are not like this so don’t worry folks!

(5) The majority of people join the swinging scene when they are in their 30’s and 40’s when they’ve done the usual sexual stuff in life. So it’s not likely to appeal to teenagers. Although our youngest member is a 20 year old young lady.

As it has been previously mentioned in other reviews, others have tried to start their own club and failed. Sadly, this does cause bitchyness and jealousy. So all I can say is come along to Club 2000 and see for yourself what attracts so many members to the very first club in the north east which was established over four years ago. we went to club 2000 to see what it was like and found it dirty and seedy. there were single guys queueing outside the couples only "playroom" to watch and the room itself was only a bedroom with a couple of not too clean looking mattresses on the floor. there was no evidence of safe sex being practised and most of the members were middle aged from what we could see. Needless to say we won't be back.

After reading through the previous reviews of this club found a need to add one We visited this place last year and yes it was friendly the people that is We as another person has said got lice the shock and horror of realising that I had this was too much Neither of us had swopped but we will agree that although it is a friendly club it is not a clean one and even though i used to be a smoker i found myself choking for breath the club i think is great as long as where you live is similar im sure it could be better

we have just heard about the new idea for your preferred single males ,greedy girls, and couples,night.one partner greedy. We ourselves are not looking for single males , as we enjoy both of us having pleasure from another partner.However for those couples who do, it seems to us that this was a great idea whoever thought of it....we truly hope it is sucessfull This is by far the best club,we have been to always recommend club2000 when the occassion arises to anyone looking for the best. we really want to tell you, of all the partys, clubs, (and there have been many, this is the absolute best we have seen you are the .....my wife and i have decided to become lifetime members and the final decision came because of your dedication to responding personally and quickly to our concerns and im sure others too......in our case, your solid customer concerns have rewarded you with new lifetime members

This is THE best club we have tried. More communication here with real people in the lifestyle. You said you did ALL this yourself. It's a great club, you should be very proud. We realized tonight that we have never taken the time to write you and thank you for hosting such a great party we've really enjoyed ourselves and hope to continue that enjoyment. We've also to thank you for the wonderful night and all the efforts that you put forth into making it an enjoyable experience for all.you guys deserve an award for the best club newcastle has conceived. I thought I should comment on a recent message by the reviewer named Upset. Firstly I ALWAYS insist on knowing the address of prospective new members for security purposes. I asked this person to remind me when they arrived at the club to mark on their application form not to send newsletters as he told me they lived with the in laws and did not want to receive newsletters. In view of them not having their own residence I asked if they could bring documentation relating to their employment which would verify that they were not reporters! I never give the exact location of the Club until I have verified that prospective members’ addresses are real and genuine! I don’t know what this person is on about regarding supermarket car parks? Members are not asked to go to any car parks at all! This is crap! Members’ cars are parked safely outside the Club or in our car park.

Genuine sensible people have no problem with providing their details! These people usually appreciate that I vet them meticulously before they can attend the Club; this is for the security of themselves and ALL of our members who totally trust me with their details! Having been featured all over the whole of the front page of certain paper a couple of years ago, I have no desire to be in again and I’m certain that the Club members have no desire to be in the newspapers either! I have an obligation to both the members and myself to protect their identities from the tabloids which is why I ask to see a passport, to prove their identity and a household bill to prove their address or a new style driving licence with picture and address on it as well. By adhering to these procedures, I am confident that this will reduce the possibility of reporters attending the Club, as even reporters are not allowed to forge passports or driving licences! Most sensible clubs ask to see valid identification. However if you prefer to remain anonymous, then find a club that doesn’t require to see ID. But do be prepared that you could well be part of tomorrow’s news!

We did go to the club in the end. When we rung them to arrange joining. The hassle involved was just silly. First of all he wanted to know our full address including postcode, telling us to remind him to take us off his mailing list when we got there. Then he started asking what we did for our jobs. He insisted we bring wages slips and household bils and passports with us. At this point he still would not give out the location. When we finally said we would be coming, he still wouldn't give out his location. We were to follow the directions given which took us to a supermarket carpark, on arrival we were to ring again at which point someone would be sent out to meet us, then would take us to the location, leaving our car behind in the carpark. Needless to say we didn't go

As regular attendees of the club we were surprised and saddened to read the recent review by disgusted. The Club was so far removed from how its described here, our belief is that its a mailicious rival or someone who has tried and failed at hosting their own parties.

It was with great pleasure though that we ve read many reviews before and after disgusted, that weigh heavily in favour of phil and his club management style.

At the risk of covering old ground, the friendliness of the members and guests have kept us going back for about three years now. The premises, although not flash, are big, clean and appropriate for such a club. And even the buffet is better in the last couple of weeks.

As regards the pubic lice situation, it would be funny if it wasnt so potentially panic spreading. To our knowledge, NO ONE has ever complained of any health situation in the time weve been going. We suspect he has caught this elsewhere and brought his partner here to try and cover his own guilt. We would suggest some Full Marks lice lotion to make this "man well" again.

Please follow the majority of the reviews to Phils club on any saturday. The build up to Christmas is always fun and busy.

We've been to Club 2000 several times in June, July & August and the description of the club by 'disgusted' just isn't true.

Phil is a great host and makes an amazing amount of effort to make new visitors feel welcome & relaxed.

As for the rooms, we have always found them to be spotless, the bedding is always fresh and clean at the start of the night and the only odour is your deoderant when you've been doing hot 'n' hard work.

The single guys we've chatted to have always been polite and respectful (even Quentin & Justin). As for anyone being dirty, especially single guys, well if they were allowed in (which they wouldn't be) they'd guarantee themsleves no action. If you're coming to a swingers club and you have a personal hygiene problem, you are going to have a very lonely night.

We cannot praise this club & it's members highly enough. Consider this, we have a 5 hour round trip to get to Newcastle to attend the club, if it even remotley resembled the description by 'disgusted' we wouldn't waste our saturday nights this way.

We dearly hope that anybody reading that crap isn't put off coming along.

The place is clean, the single guys aren't pushy & the couple who run the club will bend over backwards to make sure everyone is comfortable & enjoying themselves.

You honestly could not find a better starting place to get into the scene.

p.s. well be down with some friends this coming saturday 12th Oct.

Hi after reading that vicious review about c2000,we felt we had to reply.We have been going for about 10 months,every weekend and find the atmosphere pleasant and friendly,and the rooms clean.As for these people saying they caught lice from there,what a load of rubbish,if they did then we'd all be lifting which we're not.In our opinion people like this are not welcome. On a lighter note we had a great time on sat.and will be there again this sat.why not come along and see for yourself,nice people will be welcomed.

We are a couple in our 30¡¦s and attend Club 2000 almost every week. The club doesn¡¦t have Jacuzzis or saunas like some clubs down south have, but with all the facilities in the world you can¡¦t make a great atmosphere that comes from a great club with the best friendly fun people. The hosts try really hard to welcome and relax both existing and new members and also enjoy getting into the swing of things so to speak lol! This is without doubt the best club for people totally new to the scene that are naturally nervous. However we thought isn¡¦t it strange that with 24 reviews about Club 2000 that only one is a bad one?? My theory is that the writers of the bad review were obviously weirdo¡¦s and didn¡¦t fit in with the usual bunch of fun people so decided to be bitchy (and we only thought women could be bitchy!) What we also wondered was that if they didn¡¦t like it the first time why bother going back? If they didn¡¦t like the rooms and reckon they were harassed by a single why would they want to pursue things further by going into a playroom? Our theory why no one touched them is probably because they didn¡¦t want to catch lice from them! Most members are clean and hygienic however it is possible to get a dirty couple like these people must have been! Our advice to those of you considering visiting club 2000 is just go for it; you¡¦ll have a brill night! Without risk of catching anything as it seems that these wingers aren¡¦t coming back! Phew! I thought i would give my opinion of club 2000. we had our first visit a couple of months ago,and both said we would never go back,but we decided to give it a second chance,only to find that another room had been opened. the place is badly run,the rooms are damp ,dirty and stinking... my partner was harrassed by a dirty single who would not leave her alone. we did decide to go with each other in a so called playroom,and later found that we we both had pubic lice... can you tell me how we could have cought these... we were together all the time and did not let anyone touch either of us, the only thing we can say is it was caught from the dirty bedding... I do not intend putting a name on this as we do not want people to know what we have had... But please be warned before you decide to go to this place...

It is a very relaxed place and Phil (the host) is a really laid back guy. He greets all newcomers and gives them a guided tour and puts them at ease. The venue is a large private house with plently of room. There are 5 rooms downstairs and a couple of rooms upstairs for consenting adults.Saturday nights have been well attended recently and the regulars are very friendly as well. No-one 'pounces' on you - this is often a worry for first timers and there is NEVER any pressure to do anything but plenty of action to watch! Club 2000 had a St. Trinians night on last night. We decided to go back after visiting a new club south of the river, that had turned out to be men only. My wife had been shocked as the continental host asked me 'pop back for the lads only night.' I said its back to what we know and love i.e. Phils.

We were welcomed back with open arms. About 20 couples were there and a few polite single guys looking for good natured fun. A new young couple showed an interest in us which we gladly reciprocated.

Many made the effort to dress in school outfits. It was an exceptional night. Lets hope for a long hot summer and some outdoor fun. Wahey. This truly is the best club in N.E.

First time at this club last sat, wasnt sure at first, as did not know much about it, apart from the fact , its been known to have over 15 couples, plus singles, which seemed alot for us as we went to a club (south) 6 couples, so you will understand, that we needed to check this club out for ourselfs, as we heard its been the best for what i call (STAYING ALIVE) NO ONE FAST ASLEEP AT MIDNITE) belive me you wont find this here at this club, could not belive it, some how just was alive as soon as you walked in. Wastnt sure of the hosts at first, as you dont , some how think that you could be made so welcome at the door when, the (HOST ) is sucking the other half of hosts nipples, but after looking on for a few seconds, you just feel like saying, is this where i hang my coat? help yourself i heard the male host say, i looked at my partner and relised he meant we could EACH have our own coat hanger, and didnt mean we were sharing,. Not that i asumed this ,as me and blank know the signs, being into couples. Thats why we came as we heard that there was no pressure from now one, not even singles, as we have had bad experience at other places with singles, but after chatting to many friendly couples relised, these singles and couples are vetted, and after a great night, thought at the start of the evening, who would have thought that as a couple that AT last there is somthing we agree on . YEH you guessed, see you all this sat, and thanks for a good night, you know who im talking about if you see this.......

just been reading about club 2000, iT was jan this year THOUGHT ID be brave and go as a single girl (at the time may i add), been in the scene many yrs, and thought just coz iam now single why not i hear you all saying?, single guys cum so why not me? yeh thats what i thought at the time when , ringing for times, dates , not thinking i could just go along when i felt like it, or in the mood. S o i felt houred when i was told what date which at the time was the month of dec, in which week i could cum along, this was , and IT felt good for me, as it made me feel as if the host catered for anyone new and afterwards relised the hosts did inform other members of who was new . This is what i was inpressed about club 2000, welcome in a big way, from hosts to couples ,singles, looked after by all, my fear comming as a single girl, after being used to being apart of a couple, went as soon as i was greeted at the door.All i want to say to ladys out there , if there is any where you would like to come a long on your own, as soon as the door is closed behind you you wont feel that way, and belive me it will stay with you for mths to come, after that thought, next time you enter, you will know this is where you BELONG.........

We have been attending the club for almost two years now. Although we dont go every week, we could certainly be considered 'regulars'. At 35 and 26 we are by no means the oldest there, but certainly not the youngest either! The club has a great mix of age which leads to interesting evenings.

There are occasional theme nights including 'St.Trinians', 'lingerie','Halloween' and general fancy dress. Last time I went as the Count of Monte Cristo while Lana went as Harry Palmer, the Michael Caine character.(long story!!)

The club invites you to take your own alcohol along if you wish to drink. There is a top class buffet provided should you have another type of hunger!! The club starts about eight and goes on till late. Many come after pub hours so its never too late even if youve been out to somewhere else.

Some people like to dress in leather/pvc, but equally some just go in normal clothes. In the summer it can get very hot. Sometimes clothes get shed after a few drinks. The spacious garden can get used for cooling down or warming up.

There is no pressure to get involved. On our first visit we had a few drinks and played pool. There are sometimes 2 or 3 single men there but they arent too pushy. (I believe its carefully monitored by club management.) Usually theres between 20-60 people at the parties. In the main these are couples.

I could recommend this as a great night out. This applies to whatever level of swinging you prefer, or even if you want to just go and see what happens. A lot of people are suprised how laid back things go on and how normal the people are. People come from all walks of life. Its a superb mix.

Contact the club and prepare for a new expereince. You may wish to bring your own cds though as the music has been terrible lately!

We regularly attend club 2000 parties as a couple The people are friendly and considerate of your level of swinging, whether you fully swap or like ourselves like to show off only The atmosphere is relaxed and fun in any of the rooms,where anything goes whether it's playing pool, getting down to it or just watching So come along and try it, you never know you might like it

I've been going to club 2000 for about a year now and as a single guy I have made some good friends. Situated near to Newcastle in a large detached house, Club 2000 offers all its members the chance to take part in some adult fun without any pressure or pre-judgement. In other words, if you want to swap then great and if you don't then that's great too.

The evening usually commences at about 8.00pm with couples arriving really up until closing time at the pub! There are a few single men but rarely more than 3. There are normally about 10+ couples in attendance. A great buffet is laid on and you can bring your own drinks although the club does provide complimentary tea and coffee! In summary this is a great club where everybody is very laid back, friendly and genuine.

I started attending the club two years ago. Now at a large country house nr. Newcastle, the atmosphere has took on a more cultured feel. The majority of guests/members are couples but as a single male visitor on this occasion, i was not made to feel like a 'lurker'. The night started off with drinks and food. The buffet was excellent, prompting one well endowed young regular to proclaim "I'm only here for the buffet!" As the night wore on people loosened off. Many were naked or in their underwear as they socialized. One middle aged lady took great delight in informing us she had been 'rodgered senseless'. As the night wore on it was replaced by the dim light of morning. My taxi arrived and I left after a brilliant evening.

We go most weeks to this club ... it's held in a large detached house with plenty of room for parking. Atmosphere is very casual and friendly, you'll find no pressure at all here!! We tend to think of it as an 'adult fun club' rather than a 'swingers club'. You can indulge in just watching if that's all you want or go the whole way .. whatever 'turns you on' really !! There are a few single guys (who don't bother you unless you want them to) but they're 'vetted' by the Owner very seriously before gaining admission. Some form of ID is required to make sure that the 'press' don't gain entry. All in all a seriously friendly and fun club to meet people.
