The main review needs seriously updating, as there have been many changes to the club since the original postings.

The club is now on one level really nice , clean and bright. Very discretely off the road with easy parking and just 5 mins from the underground

There is a nice big meeting room and dance floor with an obliging DJ

Nice high barstools ideal to show off legs and stocking tops lol

They've  put in a lovely 4 poster bed which was well christened last night, the other playroom has tv dirty movies and mattresses to play on. The dungeon is just being completed - haven't really tried it out yet lol

There is a nice clean bathroom & kitchen

We went on a Friday which is greedy girls night and we had a good time

Saturdays is couples only and that's a good night too

Anyone who remembers the old venue will be very pleasantly surprised at the difference

I have a few words to say about the cockatoo club, We were slightly hesitant about going after reading the reviews, but decided to give it a try.  This is a new venue situated in Newbury park, it is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.  The dance floor /meeting area has plenty of seating and music to cater for all tastes.
We were greeted by the owner, Vic who was friendly ,down to earth and a good laugh,
The other couples were friendly and the playrooms were being put to good use.  The atmosphere is relaxed and no pressure, so to make the most of it, you will have to be prepared to make an effort.
We enjoyed our evening there and will be visiting again.

Friendly people, let down by appearing `tacky as f**k` as my partner put it!! Albert Steptoe lookalaike didn't help by letching at the fun going on upstairs in one of the 'playrooms'

The General feel of the Club was a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Hosts were very nice and the Couples were also a nice bunch ! but it was our first time ever to a "Swingers Club" and We were Very disappointed in the lack of Couple participation, i.e.: We did not see any Couples Swapping or enjoying other people. We decided to go upstairs and start ourselves in the hope that we would be asked by a couple/s to join us but no one did, but there wasn't any other couples playing with others either! So We were very disillusioned with this first ever Club Visit.. It seemed to us that the majority of the Couples were more interested in just watching the few of us that had got naked and were having sex with our own partners than getting down to some real sexual fun with everyone else there.. We thought this would be a meeting place for likeminded do'ers not watchers! Are all Clubs like this ? ...

We have been going to the cockatoo club for a few years now. The reviews on here need to be sorted out as some are for the old place. The club is always very clean the couple on the door are very friendly and so is the owner when he is there. There are 3 play rooms, a dance area with seating and a nice warm rest room, two bathrooms and a sauna which is new and they are planing to put more showers in. We have been to all the nights they are open and had a great time. Tuesday 9pm-1am is couples only all the couples that come in are nice and friendly and people always seem to play ever time we have been there which is great ( this is the only couples only party they do )and its very new Thursday 9pm-12pm this is a stag night not a swingers night with 5 lovly and very good strippers this is main for single guys friday 9pm-2am this party is for coples and singles with nice people to talk to, good tunes, and friendly but some times you do need to get up and talk to people as you do get new people who can be a bit shy but it is a good night. Saturdays 10pm - 3am this is also couples and singles night very much the same as friday nights but seem to get more couples and less singles all still nice people. Snday 2pm-10pm this is open for couples and singles who wish to use the sauna it is not rally a swingers afternoon but they do let you play if you wish (sundays is very quite as its only been ope since jan 2004 but its nice to have a sauna and relax. The club is nice and friendly with get people it is not that busy at the mo but it was last year hopefully it will pick up again soon but its not always the amount of people there. We have been going to this club for about 3 years now and although not regular visitors we have always been made to feel very welcome. Like any club, there are going to be times when it will be busy and others when a little empty. We have always attended this and all clubs not expecting anything and if things happen then it is a bonus. We have put this review on here to remind people that go to clubs, THEY ARE TRYING TO RUN A BUSINESS !!, nothing comes for free,and we like most couples love the scene, but with clubs - it does come at a price, sometimes you will be lucky and your entrance fee will be well spent, other times it maybe a bad night and there is good programme on the tv !! This is a very clean intimate club, that even boasts a sauna now, along with nice comfortable playrooms, lounge with tv, disco /dancefloor and a friendly atmosphere. We have been making tuesdays a semi regular thing which is strictly couples only, this is has been getting busier each time we visit, and must be one of the very few clubs catering for couples only during the week. We have no hesitation recommending this club to any couple, especially the tuesday nights. Saturdays the club does entertain singles as well as couples, but in our experience, the singles are under no illusions that unwanted attention is respected. Our last visit was on Tuesday Jan 13th 2004

have been to the club on friday and saturday night and we have had loads of fun on both nights. now that they have moved some of the rooms upstairs there is much more couple to couple action going on.true there are some single guys at the club but it does seem that almost all the clubs now let in singles. but we have never had any problems with them at either cockatoos or any other club we have been to

my wife and i went along on saturday nght and had the time of our lives it was a great nght. we were with another couple in the fun room and both the girls were sucking blokes of while we took turns to fuck them we are going back next week..

I had a great night at the Cuckatoo on Friday, the ambiance and atomsphere was just right, after a stressful week, I needed to chill out. There are ample of playrooms, seating area with good lighting and music. My favourite is the four poster bedroom, lots of laughs with other people there, having fun. The owner is great, makes you feel welcome and very friendly person. I will recommend the Cuckatoo to anyone, who wants to have a good time out, make new friends and have a laugh.

I visit here infrequently on a Saturday night (couples and single males) with my partner. I have had some fun there with other couples although they have always been first timers. the regular couples that attend just seem to sit around and whenever I try to inititate anything, its like I have offended them. On Several nights there has been no action at all, which seems to defeat the whole reason of going to a swingers club. I feel most sorry for the single males who have to pay £50 (new members) £30 (members) and just stand around all night. Okay I appreciate there is no pressure for people to have fun but I really do think the regulars should sit down and ask themselves why they bother to go there in the first place. Not a club for me anymore, I have given up on it. I don't visit a club like that to spend the evening chatting with time-wasters.
