Friendly, Welcoming (despite what some have written on here) relaxing. Thanks Nigel and Angela for you kind comments. I have just sat here going through all the old reviews and it suddenly struck me that besides the people who do not want anyone to know who they are I noticed that two former mebers of the club who spouted that they would never do anything to hurt the owners of this club have done more than that. They refuse admission to their own club (club selecta) to any members of staff from Club Manchester and anyone that mentions anything good about the club. They have taken a copy of the club membership and invited people to their own club, fair enough but then suddenly certain members are phoning up because they have received an off line message saying that the club has closed down and if it weren't for the underhanded way this has been done, they even set up a id that all but a few changes is identical to the real Club Manchester ID. Now I have just tried to put a review on this other club, but guess what, you cant add anything. Now I wonder why thay facility has been overlooked.

We went to the club last night for the first time and despite seeing the negative comments on here we found it to be very clean and all the patrons very friendly especally rob and kim and debs and steve and if we had enough time we would have played with tem both we are definatly going again and look forward to using the swing.

just to put my bit in , i am a member of the club , but havent been for a while as i have just got engaged and my fiancee isnt into the swinging scene , so therefore i have stopped going , now i am gonna be brutally honest , me and my mate went to the club as a laugh , sorry but its the truth a drunken day in the pub and we saidf lets go and have a laugh and see what this is all about , 2 curious single males , well the welcome we got was amazing having never been in a establishmant like the club b4 we were very apprehanesive but all our fears were gone within a few mins ,neither of us took part but we did decide to join and if we never returned we lost to cash so be it , well we did return and was made very welcome again and were remembered by all the staff , considering it was a £60 taxi trip from the town we live in that is saying something because we could have just gone someone closer if we didnt enjoy the first time , AS for drugs , never seen or SMELT them so someone has been spreading crap Hookers never saw them and i certainly would not have paid for a hooker in a club when down the road there are brothels if you want them , in all i enjoy my few visits and as i said unfortunately wont return but i am sure my mate will and there are a few curious people in our local who may come in with him in the future

good luck with the club and as i know a xanadus regular he and his wife have asked about the club and may visit , also what he said that all this shit written on her by the anons is crap

On reading a posting a certain couple posted ,we are led to believe that they are quite single minded in what they like.Our pinion is that The Club is one of the best around ,you do not have to be one of the beautiful people as this certain couple were trying to put ,you do not have to be swingers ,you do not have to strip off to have a good time....As far as we are concerned everyone that goes to the club are beautiful in there own unique way and as for the appearance of The Club ,we think you must of been very very drunk or you must of needed glasses or you walk around with blinkers on as you mustnt of taken in the whole picture .....The Club is about enjoying yourself in whatever way you want and with no pressure so please do not listen to these narrow minded people and come to one of the best clubs in the northwest your mistake if you dont ...Be happy and enjoy yourselves ....Rob and Kim Be Lucky ....We love you all...

Firstly let me say that I am sick to my back teeth of all the bitching that has been posted about the Club Manchester. As newish members to the scene we have found this club to be the most friendly place we have visited. You are welcomed with a smile and made to feel 'at home', everyone there goes out of their way to make sure that you do not feel intimidated or under pressure to participate nor are you constantly pestered by single males and should one step out of line they are told in no uncertain terms that their behaviour will not be tolerated. The Club is a great place to make friends and get advice from others about the 'swinging' scene. Everyone in the club looks out for each other. especially if there are single girls, We take extra special care of them, making sure that they feel safe and secure at all times. In closing I would say that those people who seem to take such pleasure in 'rubbishing' the Club should try and look at their own lives and see what a small world they live in.

Well hello there, Ive been visiting the Club Manchester for a while now and here is my review. I have never experinced such a warm friendy place in my life, with being new to the swinging scene I have found it very easy to settle in, I have met for the first time a group of genuine people, As i am a single female I find the people there look after me and that includes all the regulars, I dont want single men chasing me every where I go and pestering me. This is one place that I feel safe to walk around wearing what ever (naked even). If I decide I want to do something with a male, female, couple etc, I can do it in my own time and I'm not pressured whatsoever. And I think for a single female that it's very important not to feel intimidated. They also have fabulas facilities there they have a great jaccuzi, sauna and great bedrooms including a dungeon, if your into that kind of thing (which i am :-). I also find the place very clean ashtrays empted before they get to full, tables are clean. Also you get tumble fresh towels (which you dont see very often), in other places I've been to. Also I find the bedrooms are very clean because lets face it (who wants to have sex in a horrible smelly room ). so that's me done, I think its a great place for new people to be introduced to the scene, a warm friendly place see you all soon see ya xxxxx

Thanks Annabell for your kind words, I dont know where you heard such nonesence. The Club is certianly not closing, As a result of an electrical fire we closed for 1 week during June.

well goodness gracious me. do steve and ann write for the minister of information in iraq as well. they may as well have. what a complete and total load of rubbish. if the place was that bad im sure that all the members would not be so fast to jump on the wagon and start defending the owners.the club was the first place that we visited on our journey through sensual discovery. we have had no need to go anywhere else as all we were looking for is at the club. i have never had anywhere near a bad experience at the club and the owners are always friendly and on hand if you have any questions or need any help. oh yes its so overun with mice they sleep in your shoes while your in the jacuzzi. what a pile of poop!. now if your gonna take the time and effort to completely slate a venue or place like this then i seriously suggest you speak to all involved. although i dont believe that steve and anne really exist. they seem to have half heartedly given a bad review of the club and their owners. well now its my turn...... sad little poeple or persons like yourselves obviously got a kick out of this yes? good i hope thats all you got because your definately the kind of people the club can do without. if it was so bad when you went in why did you stay? if it was disgustingly dirty why did you not say anything to the owners there and then? if the drug use was rife and "in your face" why did you not say anything? it seems to me that you missed the whole point of what the club is about. full of fat old ugly people!! sorry i missed the sign on the door that says only supermodels allowed in here. i dont class myself as a supermodel but a normal person. funnily enough the world is full of normal people as well. does that mean they cant go in the same places as you. well if i had met you im sure you would have made an impact being perfectly mannered and looking like supermodels? well im afraid thats all i can say at the moment and anyone who reads these rubbish reviews, i urge you to take the time to visit the club and see what complete horseshit this person has written. oh yeah and ive already reccomended the club to numerous people on the internet. many thanks to jayne and jim and everyone else at the club for a superb visit everytime we go. ps see you tonite

Three weeks ago we visited the club for the first time. We were made to feel extremly welcome by Jayne & Jim. The free buffett was very welcoming. A variety of members various shapes and sizes young and old including the obnoxious balded headed drunken rude who dominated the Jacuzi. Apart from that had a really goodnight. Will visit agin in two weeks time babysitter permitting.

Really sick of this slander..I have had a terrible few weeks and cannot thanks jim and lisa enough for there support and pete and Di. I didnt know them to long but they are all genuine caring people. First visit last week and found the place very freindly, but one critism is they allow non swingers in for birthday parties which was a bit off putting . Make it swingers only not kids birthday bashes to have a childish peek at genuine swingers.

We have been members of The Club Manchester since it opened and previous members of Eurostar45. We also have visited Partners in Bury and having read the review written by supposed 'swingers' we are both shocked and disappointed that such misrepresentation and untruth could be written by such people. On every visit, you, as we still are, will be welcome by two of the friendliest, most down to earth, people you could meet. Jayne and Jim will go out of their way and so often do, to ensure that you are made to feel most welcome and at ease every time you visit. The venue is clean, tidy and is constantly getting updated as the club grows. Jayne and Jim should, and we hope, do take great pride in the fact that they provide each night that the club is open, an atmosphere and ambiance that makes The Club the best we've ever been to!! As for being dirty, we can only say that we would not be members, regular members of anywhere that was not only clean but up to our own high standards. A visit to this club is a must, we began our swinging journey here, it was and is now even more so the safest, most relaxing and friendly place to be, like minded people who have a consideration and a friendship waiting to be shared for all who walk through the door. Try it, you wont be dissappointed. Acceptance of all who walk through Jayne and Jim's doors is guaranteed, no matter what your sexual preference or fantasy and that is another special quality of The Club Manchester, Well done Jayne and Jim and all who make it special but the best swingers club we know!!

As a newish member, I am more than impressed by the club. I love the friendly atmosphere and the other members that go. Tim and Lisa have made me feel very welcome ,as have Pj and Dee, Rob and Kim. If it was possible, I think id move in!!! lol As a single person, I feel that the club is safer than going into Manchester and meeting someone on a night out.I feel in a safe enviroment, which is a very positive thing. The couple that posted such a down beat message dont have a clue what they're talking about! Keep up the good work Tim and Lisa, and thanx for letting me come!!

Being new to the whole scene I can't compare different clubs. All that I can say is that since finding this club last october I am away from it as little as possible now. The staff and members have always made me feel comfortable and as a single female I find that they are very protective towards me. When a new single male or a new couple are with me it is amazing how many people will go out of their way to ensure that I am alright. I feel like the club is my second home and the staff and members my second family

i have never heard such nonsense jim and jayne are the most welcoming people we know.we went to the club 7 months ago and now we live there lol well nearly.jim calls it his living room and everyone is welcome,and as for taking peoples money ,that is so untrue,they let lots of people in free of charge especially if its been a quite night,they let them in free next time,to me thats the chance you take when you go to a club,but jayne say she want them to come back and see what a good club we are for scruffy jayne has more elegant clothes than the queen and changes several times a night.the bath towels are the whitest i have ever seen.well that is our personal opinion ,but dont take it from us come and see for youselves ,then you can make your own mind up,keep up the good work you 2 and dont let these people get you down the whole club members are behind you .we will show new members what a good night the can have at the club and we all now what opinion they will form

Well, we wouldn't call ourselves hardened swingers, but we've been round the block a few times, and from our point of view The Club Manchester is a super place run by sound folk. We can both guess what the negative reviewers are like - we've met their type before - full of 'em selves is a phrase that springs to mind. We both consider membership of Tim and Lisa's place damn good value for money, thats why we keep going back!

Hi my name is Jayne and my husband and I Own the club, As any one who know's me will no that I dont usually go on the internet. But after hearing about Steve and Anne I felt I should respond. I can not believe what they are stateing. I am almost certian after going through all the membership's we have never had a couple called steve & anne come to our club. Every thing they have said about us is so untrue. In fact the worse thing I can say about this club is the Jaccuzzi. Which is what Anne & Steve state is the best. The only thing wrong with the jaccuzi is that it smell's damp and whilst painting I splashed paint every where. Further more any one who has never been to the club if they quote 0306 I will allow them in for free and let them judge for themselves. The evidence will speak for it's self.

I have been a single male member of a few clubs in the North West and to see comments of this sort is obviously an attempt to try to discredit The Club. It appears that the reviewers possibly took a personal dislike to mine hosts who have build this club from nothing into Manchesters' premier Swingers Club. It has a policy to limit the amount of single males in a good ratio to couples so that everyone is happy. But please be warned that if you prefer cliques, masses of men to ladies and really want to sit in a corner frozen out then don't come to The Club because this doesn't happen. However, if you like to mix and talk (besides) and made to feel welcome and know that The Club is attended by GENUINE swingers, not wannabees then make The Club, your Club

We were really perplexed to read Steve & Anne's review of the Club Manchester. We are relatively new to the swinging scene, and paid our first visit to the Club last November. As you all know, your first swinging experience is extremely daunting, and there are all sorts of doubts and questions, like what to wear, hang-ups about our bodies etc. etc. We found Tim & Lisa to be extremely friendly and reassuring, taking the time to speak to us on the phone before we came, and welcoming us to the club and showing us around when we arrived. The friendly, no pressure atmosphere is very condusive to having a good time. I've never felt the place to be dirty and I certainly don't think Tim & Lisa are in it for the money!! We have had some lovely, pleasurable and sensual times at the Club. It provides a safe and friendly environment for people to live out their fantasies. Lisa even lays on a bit of grub (for free!) for those who have worked up an appetite - what more can you ask? While it might not be the Ritz in terms of fixtures and fittings, it's certainly a palace of pleasure for us.

we have just read the other reviws about this club, and on reading the review by steve and anne must wonder if they are starting a competing club and trying to steal customers, as i can think of no other reason why they would have made such a biased and untrue review. we have visited a few other clubs in the north , but found that the club manchester (formerly known as clubeurostar45) was by far the most welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, on our first visit we were welcomed and shown around, intoduced to other members and made to feel toataly ar ease, the owners are extreemly friendly and good hosts and still on our visits will introduce us to new members or members we have not previously met. yes the building is a bit on the old side, but is kept in reasonable order by the owners and on our visits has been clean and tidy. visitors and members are able to bring their own drinks and a buffet is served on most weekends, there are seperate rooms for couples, and even a couples only night once a month, although on other nights everyone is wecomed.jacusie is excelent, and steam room and sauna are available too.the owners attitude to dos and donnts is basicaly do whatever you want as long as you dont break anything, or seriously offend anyone. the main thing though is the peoplewho attend, all of whom are great, and verry friendly, after all meeting other people is why we all go to a swingers clubwhat more could anbody ask at a club? our opinion is that it is among the best of the clubs in this area and we would recomend anyone to give it a try.

Well having read the last review I and my wife seem to be going to a different club. The welcome we have received when we have been to the club has been very friendly and payment is not ripped from your grasp by the very friendly people who run the club, this venue is an old pub that has been converted, as such is not the most modern of buildings however the people who frequent the place more than make up for any shortcomings the building has. This is a club well worth visiting, if you are new to the scene you will be guided round the club and explained the rules, there are regular buffets laid on and entertainment is continuous with movies on the numerous TV's there is a Pool table, which has been used for other sports in the past, and the wet area which the previous reviewer agrees is good. The Manchester Club has swingers as it's uppermost clientel but the S and M scene is represented as well as TV's and unlike other of the 'cleaner and friendlier clubs' the other reviewer will be going to in the future, everyone is welcome, no one is judged or barred from entry whatever their sexual preference. If you want to strut and pose this is not the club for you, if you want to explore your sexual side and experiment with friendly uninhibited people come along. By the way my wife and I use Partners in Bury, Cupids in Swinton, Xanadu's in Manchester we have been to the Midlands clubs and have regular swinging friends from al over the UK and abroad so we are not in any way connected to the Manchester club other than being a member, but feel the previous review was a little on the negative side, but come along and judge for yourself.
