A very disappointing evening.
Cost £30 for single guys although unsure if couples paid
anything. The club was very small in a seedy area of London.
Downstairs was a bar, small dance
floor and several tables with seats. They played some good
quality trance/techno style club music although there was no DJ
just a decent CD stereo system. Upstairs there were toilets,
another bar leading through into one large play area. The area
contained mainly fetish type equipment - red leather covered,
seats and benches with straps, manacles, chains etc. Also a
large spinning, wheel device called 'The Gate' which a person
could be strapped to and spun round.
The only beds in sight were a
double bed which was positioned in the corner of the room,
halfway up the wall and was accessed by a ladder. The other
double bed was in a small room off of this main playroom.
The party started at 10pm and
went on till 4am.
Spent the evening bored, chatting
to the other single guys and drinking warm Stella at £3 a
bottle. Got chatting to one couple who were clearly up for some
fun but wouldn't play because of the lack of facilities. The
only other action of the evening occurred at the end of the
evening when one of the hosts ventured into the back room and
had some fun with us single guys but I sensed that she wasn't
over enthusiastic and it was done to try and appease us single
guys.
A lot of couples seemed to know
each other and stuck together in 'clicky' groups. I attempted to
strike up conversation a couple of times but was in the main
rebuffed.
